Boaters and Boating Safety Officers Rally on the Sacramento Capitol February 10, 2009

Make an appointment to see your legislator and tell them how important the California Department of Boating and Waterways is to you. Budget negotiations threaten the elimination of this valuable department that is responsible for training boating safety officers to help keep you safe and save lives on the water.
Decisions will be made this week!
Please find your legislator at http://www.assembly.ca.gov/defaulttext.asp, then call and tell them you "Disagree with the elimination of the Department of Boating and Waterways".
Then make an appointment to see them face-to-face while there is still time.
