Drummers will be drumming — and bag pipes piping — at the Boar's Head and Yule Log Festival at Bethesda-by-the-Sea Church in Palm Beach. This holiday celebration, dating to the Roman empire, features the Palm Beach Pipes and Drums, a musical group of about two dozen people – bagpipers and drummers – keeping Scottish heritage alive.
Naturally, you'll hear them play that bagpipe staple Amazing Grace. A live choir and brass quartet are also part of the celebration. Two performaces are set for Jan. 3. Donation of $15 requested at the door.
