Ohlsson returns to perform Brahms’ First Piano Concerto, a piece that many feel is Brahms’ reaction to the attempted suicide of his friend and fellow composer, Robert Schumann. Brahms, a perfectionist, took 21 years to complete his passionate and monumental First Symphony. The triumphant ending will leave you in awe after an evening with one of the greatest Romantic composers of all time.
