BMX: Comedy for a Cause May 28, 2009

The Bovine Metropolis Theater presents “Comedy for a Cause” to benefit Connections Therapeutic Riding Center.

The show will be BMX - The Bovine Metropolis eXperience on May 28, 2009. Tickets for the event are only $16 with proceeds going to Connections Therapeutic Riding Center.

Connections Therapeutic Riding Center provides therapeutic horseback riding to children with special needs in the Denver metropolitan area. Our focus is children with autism spectrum and sensory disorders. We also serve children with genetic, developmental, speech, and motor disorders and some who have experienced trauma. The horses are vital to the success of our program. The majority of horses we use in the program have been rescued from neglectful settings. The horses are nursed back to health, treating any injuries they may have incurred. They are then, retrained to be teachers and companions for our riders. They are quite happy with their new roles in life.
