[Last, last week's♭♬♫] A nice venue & music excellent. They opened & closed w/ original blues pieces by Randy. The 1st set was devoted to the music of Benny Golson; Whisper Not, Long Came Betty, I Remember Clifford & Stable Mates... Additionally, Randy's writings were performed. Ricardo's drumming comped, impart w/ melodic blending, shading w/ fill-ins, rim shots & Latin touches.
haven't heard this band for about a yr.. A most improved band. We need to hear more from them. i had a good time. The 83 yrs young lady who got-up & danced w/ the last number surely concurs... It was a very enjoyable night. - Reggie G., "Ambassador"

"I paid my initial visit to Duna Csárda Restaurant for one of Dolores Petersen Presents evenings at this locale which, as of late, has also been functioning as a performance space for some of Southern California finest players and singers (mostly) in the field of jazz. I came for the music, but ended up staying for (and enjoying) the food as well. The stuffed cabbage is a poem! But that’s another story left to the devices of various SoCal food critics, who’ve tended to have a lot of nice things to say about this Hungarian cuisinerie" - Bill Reed
