BMI presents this local singer/songwriter showcase. The Andre Comeau Band provides a true alternative to the mundane trappings of modern music -- musicianship, spontaneity, timeless music and lyrics that stick in the brain long after the set is over. Singer-songwriter/multi-instrumentalist Jennifer Leonhardt's songs take from the rich and varied American roots-rock tradition with influences from spirituals to jugband, ragtime to migrant cowboy ballads, and a strong '70s rock emphasis to early jazz and blues.
