Bluecross Blueshield of Mississippi Popstar Awards Presentation May 12, 2009

This is the only gathering of the year where the state of Mississippi's best high school athletes in all sanctioned sports from both the public and private school ranks as determined by the sports staff of the Jackson Clarion-Ledger. The award is named after late inductee Pop Allen, who was a longtime athletic director for the Jackson Public Schools, and the National Athletic Director of the year in 1981.
