The "holiday season" is both a joyous time of celebrating special meals and traditions with family and friends, and a poignant time of experiencing afresh our deepest, most painful losses. Join us on Wednesday, Dec. 17 at 6:30 p.m. for a "Blue Christmas Service" featuring an Advent wreath candle lighting, a litany of remembrance, scripture, music, and opportunities for quiet reflection. This service is offered to bring comfort to those struggling to find the true joy of Advent and Christmas, a joy not grounded in our circumstances, but in our eternal Hope.
(*Also note: Our Wednesday Night Supper takes place from 5-7 p.m. in Ellis Hall, if you would like to eat at the church before the service. Cost for dinner is $8.50 for adults, $3 for children up to age 12, with a family max of $30. Buy tickets online at www.allsaintsatlanta.org or contact Lauri Begley at lbegley@allsaintsatlanta.org by Monday, Dec. 15.)
