From LAcitybeat.com:
You?ve likely been hearing a lot about the Not a Cornfield cornfield in downtown L.A., Lauren Bon?s living sculpture created to challenge notions of urban public space and to inspire community activism. But now, the interactive and evolving art installation has become a constellation, the fully grown stalks surrounded by towers of blue lights that map the stars in the current night sky. In addition, nearby buildings and landmarks are also bathed in blue tonight. This ?blue phase? marks the last stage before the field is harvested in January, so see it and stay tuned.
