“Bloom and Zoom 10K Run!” at The Morton Arboretum April 16, 2011

Lace up those running shoes and get ready for the first-ever “Bloom and Zoom 10K Run!” This early-season race occurs on a closed course just as the daffodils, magnolias and dogwoods begin blooming at the Arboretum. The USA Track and Field-certified course features rolling terrain that will challenge any runner! Participants receive a t-shirt, recovery food, and a specially-priced pancake breakfast after the race. Cost: $32.50 (discounts for Arboretum members). Register at www.mortonarb.org/bloomzoom10k. Now through April 14, participants get a 20 percent discount on a one-year Individual Arboretum Membership if they purchase it as they sign up for the race. Restrictions apply.
