Block 7 Hosts Second-Annual Kobalt Tasting With Founder Kevin Carriker April 9, 2011

For the second year in a row, Block 7 will host a Kobalt tasting event free to the public with special guest Kevin Carriker, the winery’s founder and one of the most well-respected winemakers of Napa along with his business partner Mark Herold. Kobalt Wines – which are produced in limited quantities, and often described as “concentrated and intense” – are highly sought-after wines with international acclaim. Carriker is one of only a handful of winemakers to never earn less than 90 points (on a scale of 1 – 100) from leading wine publications for his wines. Among the wines Carriker will be pouring – all of which have earned rave reviews – are the following: ’08 Cabernet Sauvignon, ’09 Window Pane Red Blend and his first-ever Sauvignon Blanc.
