I got an email from R5 this morning:
Unfortunately after moving the show from the first unitarian church to the starlight ballroom and then selling it out again,
Bloc Party has postponed their Philadelphia tour date for tonight Wednesday April 6th.
Their singer Kele completely lost his voice after an exhausting touring schedule.
The band will be making up the Philadelphia date sometime in mid-June at The Starlight Ballroom.
All previous purchased tickets will be honored.
Please hold on to your tickets for now - we will allow refunds or exchanges if you can not make the new date (once it is announced)
For those who did not get the chance to purchase tickets, once the refunded tickets come in - we will put them back on sale in a few weeks.
More details to come.....please hold off on specific questions till our next e-mail comes out with all of the details (such as the new date)
Bloc Party apologizes for any inconveniences and promised to make up
