Back by popular demand, John D. MacArthur Beach State Park is holding Blizzard at the Beach! And, the forecast calls for snow! In fact, more than 20 tons of snow! Activities will include holiday card drawing contest, kayaking, bounce houses, face painting, entertainment and refreshments and you can even have your photo taken with Santa on the beach. Mark your calendar for Sunday, December 5th from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The event fee is only $5.00 and proceeds benefit the Natural Science Education Fund which supports education programs at the park for students Kindergarten thru 12th grade.
