Blessing of the Animals October 2, 2011

We love, love, love our animal companions, so why not take them to receive a special blessing? That’s why Christ Church Cathedral is inviting you and your animal friends to our annual Blessing of the Animals. The Cathedral is located downtown, at the corner of 13th and Olive. Free parking is available in the Cathedral lot area and on the street.

This special 45-minute prayer service features music as well as giveaways for dogs, cats and their humans. All animals must be on leashes or in carriers or cages. So come with your dog or cat, gerbil or turtle, and enjoy all the barks and meows—and the occasional hoot from an owl!
