Blessing of the Animals October 3, 2010

At 4:00pm on Sunday afternoon, October 3rd, St. Matthew’s will hold a Blessing of the Animals – outside (or in the parish hall if the weather’s lousy). All are welcome, even people and pets from other parishes. St. Matthew’s is located at 904 Vine St. Liverpool. St. Francis was known as a lover of all of God’s creation, especially of animals. It’s become a beloved tradition in the Church to celebrate St. Francis’ Day (October 4th) by blessing animals. www.stmatthewsliverpool.org.
