Fontainebleau Miami Beach launches the second annual Bleau Goes Pink campaign in support of breast cancer awareness with a blowout charity event including pink fire trucks, South Florida Fire Fighter Calendar men/women, food, drinks and entertainment on September 22, 2010.
Brought to you by the “Guardians of the Ribbon – Pink Heals Tour Organization,” four pink fire trucks caravanning thru Florida to promote breast cancer awareness will make a South Florida stop at Fontainebleau Miami Beach. These pink fire trucks will remain parked outside the resort to give all of those whose lives have been touched by breast cancer an opportunity to sign their names on the trucks and dedicate a message to those who have lost their lives battling the disease.

Fontainebleau is hosting a poolside public event to raise funds for breast cancer awareness and research to benefit Susan G. Komen for the Cure® Miami/Ft. Lauderdale affiliate. A $25 per person donation includes a sample of Fontainebleau’s three signature restaurants, Gotham Steak, Scarpetta and Hakkasan, as well as cocktails, and most importantly, all proceeds benefit the Susan G. Komen for the Cure® Miami/Ft. Lauderdale affiliate.

This event marks the launch of Fontainebleau’s second-annual Bleau Goes Pink campaign. Throughout the month of October, the resort’s signature restaurants will offer three-course prix fixe menus at $39 with a portion of the proceeds going to the local Susan G. Komen for the Cure® Miami/Fort Lauderdale affiliate. Menu items from Bleau Goes Pink will be featured at this launch event. As part of Bleau Goes Pink, Fontainebleau will also donate $1.00 per sale of the Pinkie Promise cocktail, offered exclusively at all Fontainebleau bars and lounges (see attached press release for more info) during this promotional period.
