Come and celebrate the opening of our new Busch Stadium with Hydeware Theatre as we present the hilarious baseball comedy BLEACHER BUMS, conceived by Joe Mantegna and written by The Organic Theatre Company.
BLEACHER BUMS treats the audience to an afternoon at the rustic old ball park, Wrigley Field, and a beautiful day game between the Chicago Cubs and our very own Saint Louis Cardinals. In the bleachers die hard Cub fans root for their team. The group includes a rabid cheerleader, a blind man, a sexy bathing beauty, a couple gamblers, and various other bleacher denizens. 90 minutes of pure hilarity takes you through all nine innings, including the 7 th inning stretch! Through out the game Hydeware will be serving authentic ballpark hot pretzels, cracker jacks and some tasty libations. This hilarious comedy promises to bring the love of our national past time right to your local theatre.
BLECHER BUMS stars, Ken Haller as Zig, Margeau Baue Steinau as Rose, April Lindsay as Melody, Nick Kelly as the Cheerleader and G.P. Hunsaker at Decker. Directed by Richard Strelinger with sets by Brian Hyde.
BLEACHER BUMS performs in the Black Box Theatre at COCA, 524 Trinity Ave. STL, MO, 63130 . Fri.-Sat May 19 ? June 3, at 8:00pm. Tickets are $10 students and seniors and $15 general admission.
