It is Ed Banger in France, Simian Mobile Disco in Britain and it's Boys Noize in Germany. Boys Noize is Germany's crack back into the electro scene with Oi Oi Oi, an album that relies heavily on fuzz bass drones, but finds moments of synth-pop delicacy. Boys Noize aka Alex Ridha (Berlin) has created a noisy (of course), pummeling and instantly likeable electro-house style, Alex has built up quite a name for himself remixing artists like Para One, Bloc Party and Depeche Mode and releasing tunes (tunes for which the word "banging" was surely invented) on labels like International Deejay Gigolos, Kitsune, Output, Turbo, Datapunk and his own Boysnoize imprint. A globetrotter DJ (most recently he's been the chosen understudy on the Soulwax and Justice tours), Boys Noize brings the noize to SF for this exclusive premiere headlining Are Friend's Electric?, the hottest *new party in town! With support from resident DJ Sleazemore (Lights Down Low) and more TBA!
