On Monday, June 21, InterAct will present The Black Pearl Cabaret. A benefit for InterAct Theatre Company.

The Black Pearl Cabaret will begin at 5:30 p.m. with a mix and mingle reception, including light hors d'oeuvres, wine and beer. The reception will be immediately followed at 6:00 p.m. by the presentation of InterAct’s Kaki Marshall Arts and Community Award to Jeri Lynne Johnson, acclaimed conductor and founder of Philadelphia’a Black Pearl Chamber Orchestra. Established by in 1999, the Arts & Community Award has been presented by InterAct to individuals who have made a significant contribution to the arts in the Philadelphia region though their activism and community leadership. Following the awards ceremony, at 7:00 p.m., BLACK PEARL SINGS! featured actress C. Kelly Wright will offer a concert set of jazz standards and Broadway classics. The Black Pearl Cabaret will be held at The African American Museum in Philadelphia, 701 Arch Street, Philadelphia. Tickets ranges from $30.00 for the admission to the cabaret concert only, to $75.00 for admission for the entire evening.
