Based in Pittsburgh, Black Moth Super Rainbow has been around since 2002 and features an all analog sound, something like happy fuzzy pop and extremely psychedelic Krautrock. The songs are written from a folk perspective so the music never feels overly electronic and never sterile. Described as "dark bubblegum freakout" the band's sound is "refreshingly new and mysteriously futuristic," and features "tantalizing ear candy...analogue high speed chases, swirling synths crashing into each other and vocoded vocals."
