Black Expressions: Hip Hop Festival!!! February 2, 2008

This heart pumping festival returns to Dance Place for the 5th year. Featuring Culture Shock DC, Arch Dance Company and hip hop artists from the DC metro area; this is an event not to be missed. Last years Hip Hop Festival was recognized by The Eagle, “Unlike "You Got Served," the Hip Hop Festival didn't force its audience to wade through a hackneyed plot and racial stereotypes to get to the chewy, juicy dance-filled center. It all went down on a cold February night but the crowd felt nothing but fire within the walls of Dance Place.”
