The next version of the ISO C++ standard is nearing completion. It is now possible to outline the set of features that will be provided.I briefly present the general design principles and list the major changes. Then, I focus on the facilities aimed at improving the support for generic programming, notably "concepts" (a type system for dealing with template arguments). The emphasis will be on the problems addressed, and the principles of their solution supported with examples. I will not try to address the theory or go into minor language-technical details. However, I should be able to answer questions on any planned feature.
