Bishops Camp 9th Annual Charity Golf Tournament September 20, 2010

The Ninth Annual Bishop’s Camp Charity Golf Tournament – helping kids in Dallas have a great summer!

Reserve your spot in the Ninth Annual Bishop’s Camp golf Classic at the beautiful Thorntree Country Club on September 20th. Your contribution will be used to support the Bishop’s Camp at St. Matthew’s Cathedral, now in its 17th year of providing summer reading fun for 125 childre, from ages six to fourteen, in our inner-city neighborhood.

Bishop’s Camp provides seven weeks of summer day camp at no charge to the participants. Camp activities include reading, math, science, art, music, and sports.

Kids at Bishop’s Camp love to read with their reading partners. These volunteers spend time reading with each child every day. This help them maintain important reading skills over the summer break and keeps them on track for school in the fall.
