Birmingham Tree Lighting November 24, 2010

Jump into the Holiday spirit with a night that brings the festive lighting of the winter season and the opening of Santa House (located at the corner of Merrill and Henrietta in the new Shain Park plaza)!

Santa, Birmingham’s Mayor and 105.1 FM’s Jim Harper will light up the climbing tree in Shain Park at 6 pm. Beverly Elementary School choir will perform and you’ll enjoy free hot cocoa from Biggby Coffee (served by volunteers from the Birmingham Bloomfield Community Coalition).

Don't forget to catch a free horse-drawn carriage ride! It's a lovely way to enjoy the holiday lights as you make your way through Downtown Birmingham.
