Birmingham Jazz Festival 2009 Alan Barnes Quartet July 3, 2009

No Birmingham Jazz Festival would be complete without the outstanding saxophonist/clarinettist Alan Barnes whose career since leaving Humphrey Lyttleton's Band in 1992 has seen him playing with many top American jazzmen, collecting British awards galore in at least five categories, running his own Woodville record label and pursuing an active and successful career as composer and arranger.
