Birding by Ear in the Mono Basin June 13, 2009

Have you ever been frustrated hearing a bird sing but not knowing who or what it is--can't see it but think it sounds familiar? Come and listen to the sounds of the birds and learn to associate those songs to the actual bird. Workshops are geared for beginning and intermediate birders but all levels of birders are welcome. Come prepared to have a good time at a relaxed pace. Beginning near the shore of Mono Lake the group will visit a variety of habitats gradually working its way up to an elevation of about 7,500 ft. $20.00 per person.
