Join award winning bird photographer and photo tour leader Nate Chappell for an afternoon of learning about and improving your bird photography. We will have a 2.5 hour classroom presentation followed by a short drive to Titlow Park where we will have a 2.5 hour field workshop. We will cover basics like camera settings (aperture, iso, shutter speed) and more advanced topics like photographing birds in flight. Equipment required: a digital slr camera and lens. The instructor has camera bodies and lenses which can be lent out - contact him if you would like to reserve one for class (nchappell@trogontours.net). This class meets at the Tacoma Nature Center.
