Bird Banding August 6, 2009

Don't miss this opportunity to see resident and migratory birds up close! After being caught in mist nets, birds are banded for the purpose of research and released. Drop in at the east wetlands parking lot off Grey Road (the gate will be open during banding hours) and learn from Michigan Bird Banding Association president Mike Bishop and Chippewa Nature Center staff.
