Bird & Reptile House April 28, 2010

The Bird and Reptile house includes dozens of animals ranging from Boas, Emerald Tree Snakes, and Gila Monsters to Macaws, Owls, and the highly endangered Bali Mynah bird. Only a few dozen Bali Mynah birds (pictured at left) still exist in the world. The Potter Park Zoo is trying to breed a pair of these rare animals so that they one day may recover from the brink of extinction.
