Bioengineering Insights October 26, 2009

This single-day conference will showcase the bioengineering science and technology at UCSB that’s making a major global impact—specifically in the areas of detection & diagnostics, drug delivery, systems biology, and biomaterials.

Keynote speakers for the conference will be Leroy Hood, Co-founder of the Institute for Systems Biology, and Jamey Marth, the newly appointed Director of the UC Santa Barbara-Burnham Center for Nanomedicine. Both are pioneers and leaders in their fields, and they’ll provide great perspective for the day’s individual sessions.
