Bindi Society CD Celebration: Falling in Light May 13, 2012

Celebrate Mother’s Day in an afternoon of eclectic, rhythmic and otherwordly global and classical music with instruments from Europe, Africa and Asia. The concert will feature the Bindi Society, and world-renowned Baroque flutists Stephen Schultz and Mindy Rosenfeld of Philharmonia Baroque Orchestra. Haunting vocals sung in Ancient Gaelic, Sanskrit, Hebrew and English accompany classically-tinged groove harp, harmonium and world percussion--including marimba and santur.
