Mark your calendars for April 13th, as this is an event you don’t want to miss! Fear not, this does not involve green sand!
WHERE: Biloxi Beach, near the Biloxi Lighthouse at the intersection of Porter Ave and Highway 90. A bonfire will be marking our event. (Does anyone want to donate firewood?)
WHEN: April 13, from 6-9PM
FOOD AND DRINK: Hamburgers, Hotdogs and S'mores will be provided at a small cost. YOU MUST RSVP TO 228-218-7867 or mwhitty@cableone.net TO GET FOOD!!! Right now, $5 will be the cost, but it may go lower if more people RSVP. If you'd like to cook your own food on the fire or bring your own food, then please do. The event is BYOB.
SPECIAL GUEST: This month we will start the educational 30 minute segment with Marcie Baria presenting the Live Oak Alliance of Mississippi or LOAM, for short. "LOAM is a green organization committed to helping shape the growth of economic development and quality of life of Hancock County and the larger Gulf Coast. In addition, LOAM is working now with multiple partners in order to ultimately attract green and high tech businesses and attendent residents to whom such an environment would appeal. We are excited about all of these possibilities and hope you will visit our website at liveoakalliance.com for more information." If you would like to be put on the list of presenters or have an idea for a topic you’d like to learn more about, please email me back with that info.
