This British singer/songwriter/activist has a socially conscious message, bitingly intelligent lyrics and brilliant song-craft that have made him a modern legend of underground folk. He appears in America these days it’s as a solo act, with just a guitar, his strong voice and his strong opinions. A Brit very much in the American tradition of Woody Guthrie and Pete Seeger, with a bit more attitude.
