Bill Wilson Center hosts its third annual fashion show fundraiser and silent art auction, “BILL WILSON PRESENTS: Young Hollywood Glam,” at San Jose City Hall’s Rotunda on Friday, April 3rd from 7:00 pm to 9:30 pm. Tickets are $20 and can be purchased online at http://bwc.ticketleap.com , from Bill Wilson Center, or at the door. Funds raised from ticket sales and the silent auction will benefit Bill Wilson Center’s summer leadership program, Youth Revolution.
Young Hollywood Glam will feature the fashion designs of local youth fashion designers as well as art donated by local artists. Designers include Darcy Fowkes (Altered Couture), Christina Keelan, Basik Clothing, Sara Zehr, Bianca Martinez, and Katie Turturici. Art has been donated by local students from area high schools and San Jose
State University and will be available for silent auction.
Youth Revolution helps high-risk youth realize the potential and power within themselves to create a revolution of change in their thinking, their futures, and for our community. Youth Revolution challenges the daily struggles that many youth face each day. It is open to all currently enrolled high school students who are willing to take an opportunity to change their lives. The summer program is a week-long curriculum that takes place at San Jose City College; youth earn college and high school credit for attending.
