Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter Bill Miller's early musical influences came in the form of the traditional songs he learned growing up on a Mohican reservation in northern Wisconsin and the roots music he heard on his family's radio. Over the subsequent three decades he has carved out a unique niche among folk musicians by blending Native American chant and flute with Western folk and blues traditions. A powerful singer, superb guitarist, and master of the cedar flute, Bill links the two great, often clashing, civilizations by exploring Americana from the native point of view -- outside of the conventional American dream.
