Bill Burr is an American comedian who grew up outside of Boston, Massachusetts and did fairly poorly in school, despite the fact that he applied himself. Having first gained notoriety for his recurring role on the second season of “Chappelle’s Show,” Burr developed a comedic style of uninformed logic that has made him a regular performer on the “Late Show with David Letterman” and “Late Night with Conan O’Brien.” And on June 8th, Bill was honored to be the first comedian to perform on “The Tonight Show with Conan O’Brien.” Bill was also seen in 2010’s Steve Carell & Tina Fey feature, “Date Night” and starred in his second hour Comedy Central special, which was recorded in December 2009 at The Fillmore in San Francisco.
Bill’s “Monday Morning Podcast,” an off-the-cuff weekly rant that has become a fan favorite, is available to play or download through Bill’s website and is available on iTunes. Bill co-hosts his own Sirius XM radio show, “Uninformed” with fellow comedian Joe Derosa. Bill’s first hour special, “Why Do I Do This?” premiered on Comedy Central in the fall of 2008 to rave reviews and is now available on CD and DVD. His first CD, “Emotionally Unavailable: Expanded Edition,” was released by What Are Records. Bill starred in his own HBO “One Night Stand” and “Comedy Central Presents” half hour specials and he has performed on “Showtime at the Apollo,” BET’s “Comic View” and Jamie Foxx’s “Laffapalooza.”
