Join us for the Seattle Benefit Concert for
Bike4Peace. This show will feature artists from the Riot Folk
collective (riotfolk.org) including Adhamh Roland, Brenna
Sahatjian, and Tom Frampton with Nova Clawson for song and spoken
word.
Bike4Peace is a cross-country bike ride from Everett, WA to
Washington, DC to protest war and peaceful, alternative
transportation and renewable energy.
Funds from the concert will support cyclists for food, repairs, and
hosting on their 56 day trek averaging 82 miles a day through
mountain ranges, forests, and blistering plains to connect peace
groups and promote alternative transportation.
The concert will take place in Gasworks Park to kick off the
Seattle Peace Concert for that day.

Also: Join us for the kickoff rides for Bike4Peace!

August 1st, 2006 leaving from Everett, WA to Seattle, WA, this easy, fairly flat ride uses a trail for half the distance of approximately 30 miles. The ride is expected to begin and end with kickoff events that may include food and beverages.
August 2nd, 2006 leaving from Seattle, WA to Lake Easton State Park, WA, is a more challenging ride. The first full-day ride of Bike4Peace, it includes steady elevation gain over the entire 77 mile ride culminating in going over Snoqualmie Pass.
Please bring your own supplies for food, water, and camping for Lake Easton State Park or arrange a ride for the evening.
