After our Urban Ride in Portland, we'll drink some beers, eat some food, and have a reception.
The Urban Ride will meet at the Oregon Convention Center main entrance at 3:00 PM, ride around Portland, and finish at Lucky Lab.
Note that we're limited to 50 people at Lucky lab. Those registered here are the first ones to get in.

If you're coming from out of town and need a rental bike, we've found good deals with Waterfront Bike Rentals and Clever Cycles. Both shops encourage reservations so that you can just stop in and pick up your bike.
More details are on their websites.
Hope to see you there!
Mention Bike Hugger when making your reservation with Waterfront Bikes, and get 15% off your rental price!
Also, first round of beers at Lucky Lab is for the Ride of Silence.

funny that you'd schedule your event opposite the ride of silence and then pretend to be honoring the same cause.
No, not at all. Our ride is during the day and the Ride of Silence is that night, starting at 7:00. We're toasting it and paying our respects. When our guests depart the reception, we encourage them to ride silently.

We'll have to clean up a bit after our event, but we're def riding silently aftwards.
and hey we need a ride leader that knows portland!
Remember to bring your laptop along and enjoy the Lucky Lab's free WiFi.
Rain note: We'll ride, don't expect a big turnout, but we'll show up and maybe just shorten it.
Do you have a ride route? I am going to the sessions at 2:45 but wanted to join the ride at 4pm if possible en route to Lucky Lab.
Un nevermind, I have my days confused between Wed/Thurs!
Here's a rough idea of where we'll be going.
These are driving directions, but it gives you a basic idea.

Did we ever mention the schwag? We're giving away 50 schwag bags from Crumpler that including some prizes. Those are first-come, first served.
