With her big hair, big glasses and bigger accordion, to say nothing of those polka-dot dresses, San Francisco's Big Lou may not have done much to make the accordion acceptable in the classical concert halls, but she has used her squeezebox to bring fun into the lives of thousands of polkaholics across the country.
