Mad Art Gallery presents the Big *** Indie Art and Craft Show, your alternative to the alternative holiday craft shows. Our 2008 show offers three days of shopping (December 5, 6, 7) in St. Louis' most spectacular and well-known venue for art exhibitions and unique events. Our show focuses on presenting original art and hand-made crafts of the highest quality in a shopping environment designed to provide your customers with a pleasurable shopping experience. We offer our artists: - Professional show management that is courteous and respectful - Leisurely Monday morning breakdown - Drive-in loading and unloading - 3,800 square feet of quality exhibition space - State-of-the art theater lighting - Attractive merchandising of your items designed to maximize your sales - Central, large check out area to avoid congestion - 3 days of shopping - A shopping location in the historic Soulard neighborhood - Easily accessible to Highways 40, 55 and 44 - Free, safe and convenient parking - Handicap accessibility - Free wifi - On-site food and beverages - Professional security Apply to Exhibit at the Show We are looking for artists with a unique vision whose work reflects skillful execution and original ideas. Download our Indie Art & Craft Show Application (28K PDF) and submit your work. Applications must be received by September 15, 2008. For each category in which you wish to be juried, please submit three recent images of your work. Images may be submitted by email and must be 300 dpi at 100%. You may e-mail your application to craftshow@madart.com or mail the application to Mad Art Gallery 2727 S. 12th Street, St. Louis, MO 63118. Notification of acceptance will be made by e-mail by September 30, 2008. Applications will be juried to ensure the diversity and quality of the articles in the show. You may enter and display only work which you have created or handcrafted. Only work representative of that submitted for jurying will be exhibited in the show. Commercially produced items will not be accepted. There is no application fee. Once you are accepted as a vendor, you will be required to pay a vendor fee of $30.00. The show will retain 10% of all sales to defray the costs of producing the show.
