Big Ed Caylor at Howl at the Moons' Comedy Zone October 31, 2010

The Howl at the Moon Comedy Zone starts every Sunday night with NO COVER CHARGE for anyone 21 and up (except for some holidays and Special events) from 7 to 8 pm. (18 to enter, 21 to drink).

At 8 pm the World Famous Dueling Piano Show starts and entertains you for an hour while you get comfortable and ready for the comedy show.

At 9 pm the Comedy Show starts featuring top touring comedy acts (listed below) from across the country. The Comedy show lasts anywhere from 1hour and 15min to 2 hours (depending on the nights act).

After the Comedy Show, the Piano players retake the stage for hand-clapping, edge-of-your-seat entertainment. This is one of Howl at the Moons’ favorite shows. A night not to be missed.

Due to the popularity of these shows, a reservation is recommended but not required.

The Headliner Comedian this week is: Big Ed Caylor

Big Ed Caylor welcomes you to the South!! He is southern to the bone, and country as cornbread. Big Ed gives a hilarious look at small-town life from childhood to parenthood. His southern ways are hysterically witty in his observations. It's a big show that you can't forget because he is Outrageous, Off the Chart, and Original. He has life and family all figured out....or does he? Television apperances include HBO, and Showtime.

The feature comedian this week is: Derrick Tennant

Derrick has been doing comedy for as long as he can remember. Unfortunately, since he has Alzheimer's, that might not be very long. Hey! who's counting, math major?. There are a lot of funny comics; there are a lot of clean comics. Hard to find a truly funny clean comic. Derrick seems to be making it his mission to change that. Being able to do the same routine at a comedy club on Saturday night and a church function Sunday is a pretty cool, but rare thing. Because of an injury, Derrick is unable to use his left arm. "Lefty" as he calls his arm, (don't ask), finds his ways in to a lot of Derrick's material. His unique, often inspirational, form of comedy will leave you with both laugh lines, AND a good perspective on life...OK, and like 10-20 less dollars in your wallet.
