Don't miss The Big Bug Lunch, which will be held Sunday, March 21, at Miami Metrozoo's Gazelle Grove. No, it's not real insects you'll be eating, although you can also do that at The World of Giant Insects! Ticket prices include zoo admission from 9:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. (ticket gates close at 4:00 p.m.); all-day monorail pass from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.; refreshments (Pepsi products and bottled water) from 11:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.; an all-you-can-eat Classic American Picnic Buffet from 12 p.m. – 2 p.m.; hamburgers (veggie burgers available upon request); hot dogs; tossed green salad with cherry tomatoes, baby carrots, cucumbers and raspberry vinaigrette dressing; red bliss potato salad; ranch style baked beans (non-vegetarian); bag of chips; ull fixin's bar; assorted sliced cheeses, lettuce, tomato, onions, pickles, and other condiments; freshly basked cookies.
