Isaiah is considered to be one of the greatest Old Testament prophets. We are all familiar with the Emmanuel readings from Advent. We look forward to Handel’s Messiah. These images and more came from the Isaiah scroll.

Join us for a 10 week investigation into the world and times of Isaiah of Jerusalem in the St. Mary Immaculate Parish Stewardship Room from 7:30 to 9:00pm on Tuesdays, September 4, 11, 18, 25; October 2, 9, 16, 23, 30; and November 6. St. Mary Immaculate Parish is located at 15629 South Rt. 59, in Plainfield.

You will also learn about 2nd Isaiah and 3rd Isaiah. WHAT!?? Yes! Isaiah lives on through his disciples and those who thought like him. Travel through time to see how each generation developed and extended this visionary theologian of the 8th century BCE. Learn how he influenced prophets who came after him. Witness his effect on the gospels and even on John’s Revelation!

To register, email djfiday@comcast.net or call David Fiday at 815-439-1897.

No fees, no deadlines, just let David know you are coming [so we have enough materials]. Bring a friend and bring your bible! A supplemental commentary will be available for $7.
