Beyond the Myth
Thursday, September 15 at 7:30pm at the Regent Theatre in Arlington, MA
You Will Be Shocked At What You Learn.
Jointly hosted by the MSPCA and our friends at Pittie Love Rescue, this documentary promises to open your eyes. Beyond the Myth is a film about Pit Bulls and those who love and defend these breeds. It reveals the perils of breed specific legislation as carried out in three cities that ban Pit Bull-type dogs: Denver, Cincinnati, and Miami.
Special guest at the screening is Cherry, a Pit Bull rescued from Michael Vick, believed to be a “bait dog” and one of the most abused dogs in the Vick compound. Cherry is now recovered from his trauma and is a sweet natured and incredibly lively animal companion.
Tickets are just $10, and may be purchased in advance by visiting http://www.beyondthemythmovie.com/screenings.shtml.
