Beyond Folk: Davy Sturtevant and Somar Dance Works June 25, 2010

This is a unique two-part program of music and dance. In one part, well-known folk singer/songwriter Davy Sturtevant joins with SoMar Dance Works to present 'Dis-Ease: A Coming Out,' an original 13-movement autobiographical work about the challenges of coming to terms and living with Bipolar Disorder. In the program's other part, Sturtevant takes the stage solo to present the traditional folk music for which he's most known.
