Becoming an Outdoors Woman (an outreach of FWC) Events designed primarily for women; however, it is an excellent opportunity for anyone 18 years of age or older to learn the outdoor skills usually associated with hunting and fishing, and a variety of outdoor pursuits.

Event includes
An instructional class on shotgun safety and basic shooting techniques taught by Resident coach Roger Gascoigne - the only British Clay Pigeon Shooting Association (CPSA) certified coach and Associate Member of the Institute of Clay Shooting Instructors living in Florida. We will go over the fundamentals of gun fit, eye dominance, mount and stance to make sure you have a good foundation. We will examine your technique and make suggestions as to how you can become a more efficient shooter and hence hit more targets.
Use of all equipment (shotgun, ammunition, 50 targets/shooting clays, eye and ear protection), transportation on site, and picnic style lunch
After a morning class we will have a light lunch and spend the afternoon practicing our new skills at many varied stations each offering different shooting scenarios.
This event will help you sharpen your skills.
