Thursday, February 14 – Best of ATA Film & Video Festival – 8 PM_Artists’ Television Access (ATA), a San Francisco non-profit film and video screening house and gallery, brings a selection of films from the ATA Film & Video Festival to the Echo Park Film Center. This Valentine’s Day, come see the love that these “original, independent & underground” filmmakers bring to the medium. Ranging from the “luscious, epic lightshow” of Paul Clipson’s Echo Park, to the haunting and intriguing journey of Martin Hansen’s Paradise Drift, these films offer something for everyone. The works include LA-via-SF student Nick Parker’s film on the founding of MLK day, SF favorites Vanessa Woods and Tommy Becker and international films including a piece by a famous Canadian! CURATORS ISABEL FONDEVILLA DND SHAE GREEN IN ATTENDANCE!
