AGENDA

The conference agenda has been finalized! We’ll co-host a Forum at the Harvard Kennedy School Institute of Politis on Civic Engagement and the Youth Vote in the 2008 Elections on the evening of May 14, as the final lead up event to the conference and celebration. On May 15, we will host conversations with Internet luminaries, including Esther Dyson, CEO of Eduventure; Reed Hundt, Former Chairman of the FCC; Jimmy Wales, Founder of Wikipedia; and Michael Fricklas, General Counsel of Viacom. On May 16, we’ll dig a bit deeper into the issues in breakout sessions, some of which will be proposed and organized by you, the conference participants. Josh Marshall, Founder of Talking Points Memo, will deliver the afternoon keynote.

GALA

Join us for the finale of our anniversary celebration and conference, a gala dinner, where we will present the first-ever Berkman Awards, recognizing those who have made a significant contribution to the Internet and its impact on society over the past decade. The Gala will be held on the evening of May 16 at the Charles Hotel in Harvard Square. Tables and individual seats are still available. Register to reserve your place. (Please note that registration for the gala dinner and awards ceremony is separate from conference registration.)
