When a group of colorful middle school friends compete to get into a prestigious performing arts school, the audition process proves to be more a test of their relationships than their skills! The inner life of preteens is revealed for all its conundrums, contradictions and idiosyncrasies in this rocking and lyrical reprise of our first commissioned youth work by local composer, Phil Gorman, lyricist Lila Tschappat and book writer, Laura Marlin.
Directed by Elizabeth McKoy/Choreography by Kimberly Dooley/ Performed by 6th-8th grade students in the Berkeley Playhouse YouthStage program.
