In May, we are launched the new Berghain and Panorama Bar residency at The Bunker with an amazing event that featured Prosumer and Tobias, and followed it up with an attendance-record breaking event with Marcel Dettmann and Steffi in August. The Bunker will now be producing quarterly parties where we will be hosting Berghain and Panorama Bar residents in New York, alongside our own resident DJs. For anyone who's been living under a rock for the past five years, Berlin's Berghain and Panorama Bar have established themselves as two of the world's greatest clubs (under one roof, no less). Known for having some of the best resident DJs in the world, an impeccable curation of guests, top-notch sound systems, and weekend-long debaucherous parties, they get everything right and throw what are arguably some the best parties in the world.
Over the past couple of years, Berghain resident Ben Klock has become one of the most talked about artists in techno. Through his slow stream of 12" releases over the past five years for BPitch, Memo (a BPitch sublabel), and his own Klockworks, it was clear that Ben had the ability to make very effective dancefloor tools for big rooms. It's doubtful that anyone could have predicted how amazing his debut album would be. "One", released in 2009 on Ostgut Ton, is not just a collection of club tracks, but a fully realized and incredibly beautiful artist album that demands to be listened to the whole way through. Although he is a very skilled producer, at the end of the day, Ben Klock really shines behind the decks. He's appeared at virtually every major European club, including Berghain, Panoramabar, Fabric, Fuse, Rex Club and countless others. Ben has not graced The Bunker decks since his US debut in April 2009, and we are thrilled to welcome him back for an extended five hour set.
